TransUnion has been around since the 60s and has seen many changes to the look-and-feel of the brand over the years, but none as drastic as the ideas we helped implement in 2015. The brands in-market materials, website and interactive credit dashboard were all reworked to with vibrant colors, clean lines and a simply useful approach to UI. Armed with a fresh new look from Chicago-based Avenue, we went to work to apply the new look across the brand’s various channels.
My favorite part of this brand refresh was the redesign of the Credit Dashboard. We completely reworked the look and feel using inspiration from the recently released Google material design. The result was a vastly improved user experience that is still in use today, nearly a decade after we originally designed it. I worked closely with the UX and dev teams to bring this vision to life.
